Error with routeplanning

Postby sallymc » Sun May 23, 2010 9:00 pm

Hi there
I have just installed Googlemap Light and am having a problem with the routeplanning function.
Each time I enter a starting address I am getting the error message:
'An unknown error occurred.'
Is this a problem with the address I'm putting in? Does it work for UK addresses?
Many thanks
Sally

It's my home address I'm trying to put in.

Strange thing is, I have GoogleMap 1.0.2 on another site and have entered the address in that and it works fine...

I will email you seperately with log-in details and my address I'm trying to input to the site that isn't working as it is currently in secure test mode. Please let me know which email address to email to...

The site that is working is http://www.essentialchiropractic.co.uk/ ... ion-a-fees

Many thanks

I just tried Carnaby Street, London.

And it works fine with this.

As did your exaample. It is the area "swindon" it is not understanding.

Thank you for your response but I have just tried it again with numerous addresses and I keep getting the same error message.
The error is occuring on both firefox and IE8.
Have emailed you with screenshots to show you the error messages.
I look forward to hearing from you again as I'm very confused!
Many thanks

As I said in my previous post, I think google is not understanding the area you are giving - "swinton".

Atleast it is not giving that error with me when I leave swinton out of it.

Ok - why is it working on one site but not another then?
Also, when I try other addresses on my site I get the same error message...
When you say you are getting no errors is that on my site or your site when you put my address in?

It is not just an error with 'Swinton'...
